Recognition

This site is under construction. There may be interruptions to access for applications and videos while we continue our rebrand process. If you have issues with access, email us at KSCE@ksu.edu and we will assist you.

Kansas Community Empowerment participant communities must be in Good Standing if they wish to apply for any program awards. Good Standing for Kansas Community Empowerment (KCE) participants consists of three requirements: Enrollment, Resolution of Government Support submitted (number entered on the database enrollment page), and Quarterly Reports are up to date. All awards must also be accompanied by a Community Folio, which helps us to document the utilization of our Educational opportunities, adds points toward your applications, and assists the Kansas PRIDE, Inc. Awards Committee in decision making.

This includes requests for customized KCE community logos and signage.

Recognition Awards

Kansas PRIDE, Inc. provides unique opportunities through our partnership for recognition.

If a community receives an award, through Kansas PRIDE, Inc. the award is presented at the local level. This is done so that awards may be presented during a local celebration. A representative of the K-State Research and Extension Kansas Community Empowerment Office or the Kansas Department of Commerce Rural Programs will present the award at the community celebration or via a video.

Recognition also comes in the form of news releases (customized upon request), social media posts, and features in our Newsletter and Annual Review. All Kansas PRIDE, Inc. recognition awards have an annual deadline of May 1st.
